Cheri joined as a Partner with Pender Ventures in 2025 after 10 years with BDC Capital.
Cheri began her career in 2006 and brings experience in investment leadership across venture capital, private equity, venture debt, M&A, and valuations, as well as a track record of helping innovative companies grow and thrive.
Cheri is passionate about building game changing, high impact companies, with diverse and multi-faceted management teams and boards.
Cheri holds a Masters in Commerce from The University of Queensland. She has a Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University’s School of Engineering and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Canada and Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand).
