Christen Daniels leads the Portfolio Value Creation team at Georgian, where she drives the firm’s non-technical value-add services program and supports portfolio management activities. Christen works with portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle to optimize outcomes, focusing on strategic initiatives and corporate development activities including buy-side M&A strategy and execution, exit preparedness and planning, and strategic relationship development.
Before joining Georgian, Christen led the corporate development team at OpenText, where she was responsible for the full M&A lifecycle from pipeline generation through deal evaluation and execution to integration. Previously, Christen was an Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP, focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate finance, governance and general corporate law matters.
Christen holds a Bachelor of International Business with a minor in Spanish and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
