Dan Gardiner is a Senior Vice President in the KPMG Corporate Finance team in Vancouver. With over ten years of experience, Dan leads the Software and Technology investment banking team for Western Canada and advises clients across various sectors such as vertical market software, FinTech/Payments, video gaming/VFX, and more. He advises founders and private companies on capital raises, strategic acquisitions, debt raises, and M&A transactions.
Dan was recently awarded a CPABC Early Achievement Award in 2026, was recognized by BC Business on the Top 30 Under 30 list for 2025, and was previously honoured as the Rising Star Dealmaker of the Year by ACG BC in 2023. His academic accomplishments include being appointed as the CPABC Valedictorian for achieving the highest performance in the province on the 2018 CPA Common Final Exam and he was on the National Honour Roll for placing among the top 1% of Canadian exam writers. Dan is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
