Eric Bukovinsky is a Partner at Yaletown, bringing nearly two decades of experience in investing, finance, and consulting to the technology sector. Based in Vancouver, Eric focuses his efforts on creating strategic value and optimizing for scale with emerging growth companies. He also leads the firm’s research activities on digital transformation and the development of global technology ecosystems. He is a member of the AI Commercialization Working Group, supporting the Advisory Council on Artificial Intelligence to the Canadian government.
Eric leads Yaletown’s investments in Tasktop, CTO.ai, FinnAI, Group14 Technologies, and Columbia Green Technologies, and specializes in infrastructure software, Data and AI, and solutions enabling digital transformation. Eric previously led the firm’s investments in Mover.io (acquired by Microsoft), Foodee (acquired by Sodexo), Sokanu (acquired by Penn Foster) and Wantering (acquired by Clique Media).
Prior to joining Yaletown, Eric conducted equity research for Jefferies & Company in San Francisco, covering infrastructure software companies. He was also a research analyst at Analysis Group, an economic and strategy consultancy in Silicon Valley. Eric is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA in Economics from Pomona College.
