Nejeed Kassam is an accomplished entrepreneur, a global innovator, the proud father of two rambunctious boys and husband to his amazing wife. He currently serves as the CEO and co-founder of Rewire Digital Therapeutics, a DTx company developing transformative, gamified solutions for chronic depression. Concurrently, he is the co-founder of Useful Tech, a Vancouver-based venture studio focused on incubating and accelerating companies that use technology to transform society.

Nejeed has a strong track record as the founder and former CEO of Keela, an impact tech company dedicated to empowering nonprofits with data-driven software, which successfully exited to an American private equity-backed strategic in 2023. Trained as a lawyer, he was educated at McGill University (B.A.) and Osgoode Hall Law School (JD), and was called to the Bar in both Ontario (2015) and British Columbia (2017). He is also the founder of the Better Canada Institute, a public policy organization.

A global innovator, Nejeed has valuable experience working for the United Nations and the Senate of Canada. He is the author of the book ‘High on Life’ (with a foreword by former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien) and the co-producer of the documentary, ‘Conversations for Change’. His next book, Giants of Vancouver, is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2026. He is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Community (World Economic Forum) and a former fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts in the UK. Nejeed is active in the community, sitting (or having sat) on a number of corporate, Crown corporation, education, and non-profit boards, and speaks at conferences around the world. For his service and contribution to Canada, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal in 2012, and was named a 40 Under 40 by BIV in 2022.
