Christen leads the Customer Success team and Corporate Development at Georgian. In this role, Christen works with our portfolio companies through the investment lifecycle to optimize outcomes. This includes exit preparedness and planning, providing market intelligence, developing partnerships and strategic alliances, and building and maintaining relationships with bankers, advisors and potential acquirers.
Before joining Georgian, Christen led the corporate development team at OpenText and executed on OpenText’s inorganic growth strategy. She was responsible for the full M&A lifecycle – from pipeline generation, through deal evaluation and execution, to integration. Christen qualified at Stikeman Elliott LLP, focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate finance, governance and general corporate law matters. Christen holds a Bachelor of International Business (B.I.B) with a minor in Spanish and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
