Jon Tingling is an M&A SVP at Carlsquare. An SFU and UBC grad, Jon started his career at a Hyperwallet, a Vancouver tech company, during its startup phase (it was later acquired by PayPal in 2018 for $500m). Jon spent 6 years in the UK advising technology businesses on their corporate development and M&A before returning to Vancouver to open Carlsquare’s second North American office. Jon has completed 25+ technology transactions advising clients including KKR and JMI into leading acquirers including Francisco Partners, TA Associates, Appian and Accenture.
In his spare time, Jon is a marathon enthusiast, beginner cyclist, and (very) beginner dad.
