Marie-Claude Drouin has 17 years+ of corporate finance experience and has held various positions in financial advisory, consulting, private equity, and corporate development.
Having previously worked for major public entities in the Media and Telecommunications sectors in Canada and the U.S., she has an in-depth knowledge of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors (“TMT”), and she is leading the Technology Corporate Finance practice in Quebec at Deloitte. Marie-Claude is also deeply involved in the Deloitte Fast 50 program that celebrates the success of the fastest growing tech companies in Canada.
Marie-Claude has been involved at every stage of numerous M&A transactions (buy-side/sell-side, CA/U.S.), from the initial financial analysis, the identification of synergies and the valuation of the target, to the completion of a satisfactory due diligence, the negotiation of a purchase agreement and the integration of the acquired business. She has been involved in transactions totalling over $3 billion in enterprise value.
Marie-Claude holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters in Finance. She is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CGA) as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
