Mark is the Managing Partner of Hillside Succession, a traditional search fund focused on acquiring and operating a Canadian business.
He has spent two decades involved in the Canadian technology scene. Prior to founding Hillside, Mark was VP Finance at Drop (an intelligent rewards platform with over 5M members). He joined as an early-stage employee and subsequently raised two successful financing rounds. Before that, he was Head of Finance at Shomi (a subscription video streaming service) created through a $300M joint venture between two of Canada’s largest telcos. Mark has extensive experience working from early-stage / pre-revenue through hypergrowth.
Mark received his HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, having graduated with distinction. He obtained his CPA, CA designation with Ernst & Young. Mark resides with his wife and two boys in Toronto, Canada.
