Nilam Ganenthiran

Nilam is the founder and CEO of Beacon Software, a Toronto based firm that buys, builds and grows Main Street software businesses. Nilam was previously a Partner at D1 Capital and the President of Instacart, the world’s largest grocery e-commerce marketplace, which he helped scale from 12 to approximately 3,500 corporate employees. Outside of Beacon, Nilam serves on the Board of Directors of Discount Tire, the Aviation Institute of Maintenance, the SickKids Hospital Foundation, and the Bishop Strachan School. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
